Mr. Frank Ennis has been engaged in the global funds industry for over 30 years . He was involved in establishing PWC’s mutual fund practice in Ireland. He provided general financial and strategic advice to international investment management firms that were setting up European funds and operations.

Following his departure from PWC in 2000 he has operated as an independent consultant and independent non-executive director in the funds industry. Within his consulting role, he has advised on the sale of a number of hedge fund administrators. He holds director positions on the boards of a number of investment funds domiciled in Dublin, Luxembourg and Cayman.

Frank collaborated with Dr Margaret Cullen in the development of the Certified Investment Fund Director (CIFD) Programme and the CIFD Institute from 2012. He lectured on the programme for 7 years and Chaired the Advisory Committee of the CIFD Institute up to April 2020. He co-authored the Risk Based Oversight Framework for Investment Funds (2015) with Dr Cullen and Deloitte and the Investment Fund Governance Toolkit with Dr Cullen.

Frank is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and a Fellow of the Institute of Charetered Accountants in Ireland. He is a Certified Investment Fund Director. Frank is a Specialist Advisor and Consultant (investment funds) for Think Governance Ltd.
