Our Purpose

Think Governance is a boutique corporate governance training and consulting firm established and run by Dr Margaret Cullen to support the governance training, mentoring and consulting needs of individual directors, company boards and executive committee members.  

Who We Work With

Corporate Boards today are required to navigate an ever-increasing number of challenges, pressures, and requirements. Boards operate in a rapidly expanding corporate governance environment, which demands behaviours and internal practices that are effective, competitive and compliant. They have the increasingly difficult task of balancing the tenuous but critical relationships between directors, executives, shareholders, proxy advisors, and other external stakeholders. They face heightened shareholder scrutiny on many aspects of governance from board composition to executive director compensation to their environmental and societal footprint. 

We support Boards in understanding and navigating their governance issues through high-quality training, mentoring programs and consulting support. This helps directors and organisations make smart, better-informed decisions that avoid unexpected outcomes.

Drawing on her academic research, years of experience teaching corporate governance at senior executive and director level, as well as her own non-executive director experience, Dr Margaret Cullen, provides context rich, bespoke governance training to Boards of Directors, Executive Committees and Senior Management Teams. Margaret also assists companies in designing and implementing governance and cultural frameworks from Board level and throughout the organisation.
